Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a software developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise-class solutions within the Alternatives Investments and Insurance & Annuities team. The role emphasizes SDLC involvement, data pipelines, API-driven architectures, and cloud-ready design, with a strong focus on collaboration across cross-functional teams.

The candidate should bring practical experience in C# .NET, Angular, and TypeScript, plus cloud frameworks, and be comfortable working on site

Qualifications

3+ years developing, testing, and releasing code with C# .Net, Angular, TypeScript, and PCF or cloud frameworks.
Experience building scalable APIs, distributed systems, or microservices.
1+ years in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and release software across the SDLC for designated business area.
Build data pipelines and storage solutions, applying data engineering fundamentals.
Apply quality assurance testing methodologies independently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system design and architectures.
Ensure security controls and compliance in IT environments.
Develop software components and release/deploy updates following standards.
Model system design compatible with cloud architectures.
Work with stakeholders to improve software development practices and reliability.
