Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a C-arm/X-ray Technologist for a temporary/PRN role in Washington state. The position involves operating DTI scanners to generate diagnostic images and explaining procedures to patients. You will maintain RIS records, follow safety guidelines, and support department tasks while working varied shifts on-site.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified, AMA radiography trained, with relevant state licensure and CPR certification, ready to work in a fast-paced radiology team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography is required.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned DTI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and position patients for accurate imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced DTI imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and follow safety regulations.
• Keep work area and equipment organized and clean; uphold safety practices.
• Support imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades; assist with training.
