Job summary

KBR seeks a C/K-130 Pilot to support VX-30 flight test operations at NAS Point Mugu, CA. You will lead mission planning, execute test flights, and train crew in C/K-130 duties within a diverse team. This role requires extensive C-130 flight hours and DoD clearance.

The position is full-time in a high-demand flight test environment with potential travel up to 25% and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

BS Degree or graduate of Test Pilot School.
10 years of related experience, incl 3+ years as Test Project Officer in military test/evaluation.
Minimum 1,000 pilot hours in the C-130 and designation as Aircraft Commander; instructor experience or T/M/S Instructor in C/KC-130/J and legacy C-130.
FAA Class II medical certificate; CNAF 3710.7 minimums; eligible for DoD/US citizenship clearance.

Responsibilities

Pilot for C/KC-130 aircraft supporting flight test, aerial refueling, logistics, and post-maintenance check flights as Aircraft Commander.
Directs aircraft operations planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting for the customer flight program.
As qualified, serve as instructor for C/KC-130 mission sets including aerial refueling, logistics, and post-maintenance checks.
Must travel up to 25% as required by contract.
