Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Site Lead Mechanic to oversee the operation and maintenance of aircraft, subsystems, and support equipment. You will lead aircraft maintenance crews, manage spares and tooling, and ensure compliance with FAA and DoD requirements.

The role requires significant hands-on maintenance experience, leadership capability, and the ability to liaison with Government representatives on-site. A DoD Secret clearance is required, US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience
• 3+ years maintaining King Air/1900 series aircraft including complex modifications
• 1+ year as a site lead on similar effort
• Current FAA A&P license
• Demonstrated ability to direct a workforce in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification
• On-site liaison with Government
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance (US citizenship required)
• High School Diploma or GED minimally required

Please note this opportunity is contingent on award~

As the Site Lead Mechanic, you will lead the effort for operating and maintaining the aircraft, aircraft subsystems, and support equipment. The CLS system includes all aircraft maintenance and personnel, materials and inspections, launch and recovery of the aircraft, supply of all Contractor owned spares and support equipment through a Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP); repair and overhaul of all repairable spares at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified repair stations; maintenance and repair of all support equipment; aircraft paint; engine repair and overhaul.

QUALFICATIONS

• 5 or more years aircraft maintenance experience
• 3 or more years maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft to include complex aircraft modifications
• One or more year as a site lead under a similar type effort
• Current FAA A&P license
• Demonstrated ability to direct a work force in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification
• Capable of performing duties as the on-site liaison with the Government
• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States DoD Secret Security Clearance. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a United States DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• High School Diploma/GED minimally required

$90,000 - $150,000 + housing allowance and hardship pay (if space allows)
