Job description

Job Title: Elevator Technician

Requirements: C 11 Contractor License is mandatory. Contractors, Dealers, Vendors, Apprentices, and Head Hunters are encouraged to apply. We are open to proposals from qualified Vendors/Dealers/Contractors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair elevators and lifts following safety standards and company policies.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  4. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Mandatory C 11 Contractor License.
  • College degree or higher in Mechanical or Automation Engineering preferred.
  • Formal qualifications in engineering or previous experience as a Mechanical/Assembly Technician.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • OSHA Safety Certification.
  • Experience in training, customer service, and escalation management.

Skills:

  • Training and safety management expertise.
  • Knowledge of electronics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions, blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents.
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience with measuring equipment like digital multimeters.
  • Strong mechanical skills for disassembling and assembling machinery.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reaching above and below shoulder level, good hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
  • Specific vision abilities including color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.

License/Certification: C 11 Contractor License (Preferred).
