We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Customer Service Agent to provide customer support to patients who rely on essential medical supplies.
In this role, you will assist patients with monthly medical supply refills, order processing, returns and exchanges, account updates, and general customer support. You will also work closely with healthcare providers, care coordinators, assisted living facilities, and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, voice-based customer service environment and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism when supporting patients.
Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, understand their needs, and provide clear assistance regarding refills, orders, returns, and exchanges.
Ability to accurately enter, review, verify, and correct patient and order information while maintaining complete and up-to-date records.
Ability to learn and understand medical supply terminology, refill processes, healthcare-related procedures, and patient privacy requirements. Previous medical or insurance experience is preferred.
Ability to manage monthly refill orders, prioritize requests from care coordinators and assisted living facilities, and ensure orders are processed efficiently to prevent backlogs.
Ability to manage phone calls, customer requests, data entry, order updates, and internal communications while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, care coordinators, assisted living facilities, and internal teams while working effectively in a collaborative environment.
