We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic part-time Preschool Teacher to lead a class of 3-year-old students on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. This role is ideal for an educator who loves working with young children, understands early childhood development, and is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and positive interactions.
  • Foster a love for learning through play, music, art, and hands-on experiences.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, providing regular updates to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's growth and development.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education degree or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in a preschool setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

This teaching position is approximately 10.5 hours per week, teaching a 3-year-old Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning class, generally from 8:15-11:45 AM. Pay starts at approximately $12,500 for the school year, with benefits available per the Teacher's Master Agreement.
