Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Crawfordsville, IN, is seeking a Baler Operator to support its South Plant operations. The role requires operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers, and tending to paper baling equipment.

You will thread, twist or clamp bands around bales, keep accurate material records, and follow baler room processes. The position includes a starting rate of $22.00–$27.40 per hour with shift-based increases, and provided safety training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Starting Rate: $22.00 - $27.40 an hour with 7% increase for second and third shift.

As a Baler Operator, you will:

• Operate Forklift
• Load and unload trailers
• Maintain baling equipment
• Tend to the paper baling machinery
• Thread, twist or clamp bands around bales of paper
• Keep records of materials
• Knowledge of baler room processes preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform adjustments to equipment
