RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is hiring for an on-site engine inspection role in Macon. You will read manuals, perform borescope inspections, document findings, and support engine overhaul and SAP paperwork.

Pratt & Whitney is highlighted as a partner in propulsion. The role requires 1+ years in engine overhaul/inspection and the ability to work in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of engine overhaul, inspection, maintenance, or repair experience.
• Experience operating borescope inspection equipment and interpreting inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply engine manuals, customer work scopes, specifications, and tolerances.
• Perform advanced borescope inspection processes using specialized tooling and precision measurement equipment.
• Accurately document inspection findings and engine configuration data to support engine overhaul and build processes.
• Complete and review technical documentation including Engine Inspection Reports (EIRs), fits and clearances, and SAP transactions.
• Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to support on-time engine delivery and operational excellence.
• Meet production, quality, and inspection goals in a fast-paced FAA-regulated environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer

• A irframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate
• Working knowledge of borescope inspection equipment and inspection techniques.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
