Job description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and ambitious Buying Admin Assistant to support our clients growing Buying team. This is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a thriving fashion business working with womenswear product.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, analytical, and enthusiastic about womenswear fashion. You'll need to be a strong team player with an eye for detail and a proactive mindset. Previous experience is highly advantageous for this role.

This is a permanent role based in West London 5 days a week.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Buyer with product development, cost price enquiries, and supplier negotiations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across systems and databases
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support the Buying team's daily operations
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, including trend research and price comparisons
  • Assist with compiling and presenting best-seller reports for weekly trade meetings
  • Contribute to weekly product meetings by preparing relevant documentation and updates
  • Perform general office duties and provide full administrative support to the Buying team
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth communication and process flow

Person specification:

  • A background in a similar buying role or relevant qualification in fashion is essential
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Confident in collaborating with cross-functional teams while also working independently
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to grow within a buying environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with internal product systems is a plus
