As a Buyer – Technical Services & Industrial Gases (MRO), you’ll lead sourcing and supplier management across North and Central America. Focusing on technical services and industrial gases, you’ll drive cost savings, performance, and long-term value.
Working with Procurement Business Partners and Global Category Leads, you’ll align strategies, support innovation, and help deliver a more sustainable future.
As a Buyer, you will help drive our goals by:
Supporting Strategic Sourcing Activities: Assist in running sourcing events, preparing documentation, and supporting supplier negotiations in line with category strategies.
Contributing to Value Delivery: Help track and report on savings, support pipeline development, and contribute to achieving annual cost and cash flow targets.
Maintaining Supplier and Site Collaboration: Act as a key link between suppliers and JM site teams, supporting relationship management and ensuring smooth execution of sourcing plans.
Enabling Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with Capex Procurement, JMGS teams, and Category Leads to ensure coordinated approaches, avoid duplication, and support broader category goals.
Sourcing and Contract Negotiation Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in services procurement (including MRO), with a strong track record in supporting sourcing events and negotiating contracts across technical, commercial, and legal areas.
Strong Analytical and Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher) and e-procurement tools. Ability to analyze PO-level data, identify savings opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
Effective Stakeholder and Supplier Management: Proven ability to collaborate with site teams, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support procurement goals.
Language, Travel, and Location Requirements
Fluent in English and Spanish (required for U.S. region).
Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, time zones, and geographies.
Must be on-site at one of our Philadelphia-area locations at least 3 times per week.
Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
