Job summary

Clothes Mentor in Asheville, NC is seeking a motivated Sales Associate/Keyholder to join our team. This role supports buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising while delivering enthusiastic, knowledgeable customer service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of consignment experience, stays current on women's fashion trends, and is comfortable handling a POS and cash transactions. Weekend availability and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of consignment or resale experience.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and women's fashion.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to stand and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Stand for up to 6 hours.

Responsibilities

Clothes Mentor, a leading retailer of pre-owned women's fashion and accessories, is looking for a dynamic and motivated Buyer/Sales Associate & Keyholder to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITY:

To help promote all aspects of the business: buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising. Promote a high level of customer service ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner. Assist store management in daily store operations and opening/closing procedures.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol. Monitor and assist in the completion of daily store opening and closing procedures.
• Price and ticket items, restock store following merchandising plan.
• Greet and engage customers as they enter the store, identify their needs and provide recommendations
• Maintain knowledge of current trends and fashion styles to provide personalized advice and guidance to customers
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling, inventory management and loss prevention practices

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of consignment or resale experience
• Familiarity with fashion trends and a passion for women's fashion and accessories
• Comfortable working with a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit card transactions
• Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends a MUST
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Able to bend, lift, reach and move up to 20lbs
