Buyer Purchasing ERP Specialist for Manufacturing Projects
  • Three or more years of purchasing experience for manufacturing operations, one or more years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel are required.
  • Pay is $20 to $25 hourly.
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder.
  • No remote work allowed.
  • Full-time, permanent W-2 employee with full benefits.
  • No relocation assistance; located in the Waukesha, Wisconsin area.

This employee-oriented, family-oriented debt-free manufacturer is hiring a full-time, permanent Buyer Purchasing ERP Specialist for Manufacturing Projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing administrative-level purchasing duties (not a senior buyer).
  • Communicating with engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Sourcing metals, plastics, parts, and components.
  • Pricing and purchasing items for manufacturing projects.
  • Creating purchase orders.
  • Purchasing strictly for specific projects, most of which are already specified.
  • Entering data into ERP software and Microsoft Excel.

The ideal candidate's background should include:

  • At least three years of purchasing experience in manufacturing operations.
  • One or more years of experience with ERP software.
  • Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • A solid work history.
  • Residency within a 45-minute drive of the location.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder).
