• One (1) to two (2) years of college
• Three (3) years experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of MIS systems
• Experience in multiple commodity purchases

Aufgaben

• Issue and maintain Purchase Orders in support of production requirements.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels where Kanban is used.
• Analyze and decrease inventory levels as needed to improve inventory turns.
• Identify vendors to support Cleveland Gear growth initiatives.
• Identify and implement cost saving opportunities.
• Maintain on-time delivery dates and ensure quality requirements are met by the vendor.
• Work closely with planning and production to achieve on-time delivery goals.
• Assure all necessary documents contain the correct information required.

I. JOB FUNCTION SUMMARY

A. Purchase products or services that meet Cleveland Gear & Hellan Strainer Co requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner in support of operations.

II. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• A. Issue and maintains Purchase Orders in support of the production requirements
• B. Monitor and maintain inventory levels where Kanban is used
