Cushman & Wakefield in Temecula, CA seeks a Buyer Program Specialist to help manage spare parts, MRO activities, and ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing to keep operations running.

The role covers inventory control, purchase orders, supplier quotes, audits, and reporting on key metrics. Strong communication, attention to detail, and collaboration are required; a high school diploma is expected with relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Follow purchasing procedures and guidelines.
  • Review orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Obtain quotes and place orders for inventory and non-stock items.
  • Place purchase orders for replenishment items.
  • Issue-out and receive-in parts and manage logistics.
  • Assist on onsite audits and investigations.
  • Prepare management reports on key metrics.
  • Collaborate with team to resolve issues.

Buyer Program Specialist

Job Description Summary This position will assist in the management of spare parts and all Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) activities, ensuring all required parts, materials, and services are purchased timely, and cost effectively while maintaining continued operations.

This position will assist in the management of the Quality program and all Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) activities, ensuring all required parts, materials, and services are purchased timely, and cost effectively while maintaining continued operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure parts and materials are available so that production is not interrupted
  • Responsible for conducting inventory cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate
  • Ensure all purchasing procedures and guidelines are followed
  • Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing policies and procedures
  • Resolve all issues relating to defective material, order shortages, delivery, pricing or product quality with suppliers
  • Place purchase orders for all inventory replenishment items
  • Obtain quotes for inventory items and maintain current system item pricing
  • Obtain quotes and place orders for all non-stock maintenance requests
  • Issue-out and receive-in parts
  • Assist on onsite audits, follow up on discrepancies and corrections, as well as any other investigations
  • Complete client online training as assigned
  • Prepare reports for management review of key statistics such as vendor performance based on findings
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management based on department needs

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in facilities management, building, business or other related field preferred
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with data entry, expansive reporting, filing, answering phones, scheduling and communications
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Prior experience working in the facilities/property management, commercial real estate or professional services industries preferred
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs and base building systems
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
