A leading company in the Aerospace and Defense industry is seeking a Buyer/Procurement Analyst to work remotely. The role involves sourcing and negotiating purchases, monitoring supplier performance, and preparing RFPs. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and significant procurement experience, particularly in SAP. This is a temp position for 12 months with competitive pay.

Here's what you'd do:

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for an organization's operation.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
• Monitors the performance of suppliers.
• Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
• Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors affecting prices and the lowest cost consistent with quality and reliability.
• Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00/hr

Hours: 4/10-1st Shift

Job Requirements

Required Skills:
