#twiceasnice Recruiting seeks a Buyer/Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Washington. The role focuses on production scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and robust vendor relationships to ensure material flow from supplier to line.

You will build schedules, monitor performance, and drive on-time delivery across two facilities while leveraging ERP/MRP processes and cross-functional collaboration. ASAP start; full-time; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain.
• Vendor and supplier management experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP system.

Responsabilités

• Build and manage daily/weekly production schedules to meet demand and business objectives.
• Ensure materials, labor, and production resources are aligned to manufacturing schedule.
• Convert customer orders into production plans and scheduling requirements.
• Monitor production performance output; identify variances/adjust schedules as needed.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to drive on-time delivery.
• Lead MRP-driven purchasing activities across two facilities.
• Maintain optimal raw material, finished goods inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and need for replenishment in timely manner.
• Evaluate/source suppliers against quality, cost, delivery standards; maintain key relationships.
• Maintain pricing agreements; review quotations and issue PO's per company policy.
• Develop vendor performance metrics and supplier scorecards.
• Maintain accurate ERP records - inventory, purchasing, material tracking updated in real time.
• Ensure effective recordkeeping during manufacturing process from receipt to finished goods.
• Communicate proactively on supply disruptions, delays, and production issues across operations.
• Partner with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Plant Leadership on shared objectives.
