SSP in Twinsburg, OH is hiring a Buyer/Planner to manage procurement, inventory, and supplier performance for components and services. You will collaborate with Engineering, schedule machining, and monitor POs to ensure materials arrive on time for manufacturing and customer demand.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Buyer/Planner will manage the procurement, inventory, and supplier performance for purchased components, as well as support purchasing and planning for subcontract services, outside processes, and raw materials. This role will ensure that purchased materials are available when needed to support manufacturing operations and customer demand, and maintain targeted inventory levels. The Buyer/Planner will also assist with planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle. The successful candidate for this position has experience in the manufacturing industry, a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain management concepts, and is highly effective collaborating with internal colleagues as well as external stakeholders (vendors).
