Akkodis is seeking a Buyer/Planner for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include processing purchase order confirmations and maintaining accurate procurement data across systems.
Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Buyer/Planner job responsibilities include:
Manage global communication with indirect suppliers, including PO confirmations, receipt acknowledgement, and contact updates.
Support purchase order cutovers and legal entity changes while ensuring timely and accurate updates in procurement systems.
Work with PO reports and supplier databases to maintain data accuracy and resolve open indirect transactions.
Follow established procurement procedures and guidelines to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve procurement-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
Up to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area.
Familiarity with procurement systems and supplier databases.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
