Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Buyer/Planner for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include processing purchase order confirmations and maintaining accurate procurement data across systems.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Buyer/Planner job responsibilities include:

• Manage global communication with indirect suppliers, including PO confirmations, receipt acknowledgement, and contact updates.

• Support purchase order cutovers and legal entity changes while ensuring timely and accurate updates in procurement systems.

• Work with PO reports and supplier databases to maintain data accuracy and resolve open indirect transactions.

• Follow established procurement procedures and guidelines to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve procurement-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area.

• Familiarity with procurement systems and supplier databases.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
