Job summary

Skimo Co / SkyRun in Utah seeks an experienced gear merchandiser with backcountry skiing and mountain running background to procure and merchandise backcountry gear across our multichannel retail operation. You will provide sales guidance for floor staff and backfill sales roles as needed, with additional team leadership responsibilities.

You will collaborate with vendors, manage online product listings, ensure accurate online depictions, and promote key product lines while coordinating

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in backcountry skiing and mountain running.
• Experience procuring and merchandising gear.
• Ability to provide sales guidance for floor staff and backfill sales roles.
• Supplementary team leadership experience.

• Ensure products are sufficiently displayed in store.

• Proactively manage overstock with creative sales tactics.
• Use social media to announce product availability.

In this role you will be expected to provide sales guidance for floor staff and backfill sales roles as needed. Supplementary team leadership is required.

This is a full-time, year-round position.
