Formación

• Proven experience in commodity purchasing, particularly steel and chemicals, within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to solve complex problems quickly.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the plant floor to verify inventory and interact with team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement best practices.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company safety standards.
• Continuous repetition of movements.
• Frequent lifting, bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring full range of motion in hands, arms, and legs.
• Ability to repeatedly use abdominal and lower back muscles when bending and lifting.
• Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift.

Compensation & Benefits

• For this position, you will be paid $16-20per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
• Contractto hire position
