Job summary

WARN Industries in Clackamas, Oregon, is seeking a Buyer III to ensure materials flow to the production floor, manage supplier relationships, and keep purchasing processes efficient in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll own purchase orders, execute MRP adjustments, analyze procurement metrics, and use JDE, Power BI, and Excel to drive data‑driven decisions that keep WARN moving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong ERP experience (JDE preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookups.
  • Solid understanding of MRP and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with urgency and ownership.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own purchase orders from placement through receipt.
  • Execute MRP recommendations including expedites, deferments, and order changes.
  • Prevent and resolve material shortages before they impact production.
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive accountability.
  • Analyze inventory risk, supplier performance, and procurement metrics.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and ERP data.
  • Partner with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Drive continuous improvement across purchasing and supply chain operations.
  • Use JDE, Power BI, and Excel to make smart, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the critical link between our suppliers and our production floor, ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time to keep WARN running.

  • Own purchase orders from placement through receipt

What We’re Looking for:
