V2X, Inc. is seeking a Level-II Buyer to manage procurement for our HQ and programs across domestic and international suppliers. You will draft POs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with government and company policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Accounts Payable, supporting audits, and coaching junior buyers. The role may require travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites and engagement with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional procurement experience.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and contract management.
• US Citizenship required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• A Level-II Buyer will buy and administer purchase orders for various V2X Programs which may involve both foreign and domestic subcontractors. This position will execute and administer various types of Purchase Orders (POs) through close-out, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, legal guidelines, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements. Drafts Request for Quotes, determine price reasonableness, leads negotiation efforts with suppliers. Supports all internal and external audits. Operates under the functional guidance of Supply Chain organization and Corporate Purchasing Manual, while coordinating closely with other functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing of primarily services, and materials / supplies in support of the HQ site and programs as required. Responsible for the total procurement process – sourcing thru closure of purchase order, to include thorough documentation.
• Purchases a variety of services, materials, and supplies.
• Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers.
• Evaluate bids, selects and recommends suppliers, negotiates price, delivery, quality and service.
• Follows up on all awards until completion of order.
• Works with Accounts Payable as required resolving issues on suppliers’ invoices.
• Responsible for all documentation associated with a purchase as required by government and company policies.
• Coach Junior Buyers in the Organization.
• Performs other duties assigned.
• May be required to travel on Temporary Assignments to Programs both CONUS/OCONUS in support of program and mission requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  • BS/BA Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. (One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required)
• Experience:
  • Must have 4+ years of professional experience relating to Procurement, subcontracting, purchasing & contract management.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), contract law, purchasing policies and procedures, basic software worksheet technologies, and the ability to meet with, work with and brief senior management personnel.
• Other Requirement:

• Skills:
  • Good problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills/techniques, strong communicator, possesses analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train, lead projects, direct employees.
  • Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
• Software:
  • Functionally skilled in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
• Technology:
  • Company issued computer, printer, calculator, phone, copy/scan/fax machine and other general office equipment.

• The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

• Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
