Job summary

The Structures Company seeks a Buyer II to handle material and services purchasing in Lancaster, NY. You will negotiate pricing, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and select suppliers to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include processing requisitions, investigating variances, coordinating with Engineering and Quality, and driving supplier performance under ITAR constraints. A related degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in purchasing or materials buyer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP.
• CPAM experience is a plus.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• College degree preferred in Supply Chain Management or related field, or comparable experience.
