The Buyer II at Sierra Space leverages knowledge and skills in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management to manage and execute procurement activities efficiently. They interact with leadership, suppliers, and external personnel to ensure coordination and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role involves managing more complex orders, negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, conducting supplier performance assessments, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The Buyer I also handles procurement documentation and stays informed about market trends and cost‑saving opportunities.

Additionally, you will handle procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and interact with leadership, suppliers, and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations. You will stay informed about market trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and use procurement software, such as SAP, to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate records.

Pay Range: $74,922.00 - $103,039.50
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
