Job summary

OBE is seeking a Buyer I in Los Angeles, CA to execute buying activities and support supply planning across assigned categories and regions. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within our procurement team.

You will monitor order status, source suppliers, maintain ERP records, and collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing with operations while assisting in resolving invoice issues with Accounts Payable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 1+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Source suppliers and collect competitive quotes to support cost savings.
• Maintain ERP procurement records including pricing, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
• Partner with internal departments to align purchasing with operational needs.
• Assist in resolving invoice and payment issues with Accounts Payable.
