Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team. The role focuses on establishing supplier relationships, researching vendors, analyzing pricing trends, and ensuring that orders align with engineering drawings and GMP standards.

Key duties include monitoring critical path items, ensuring incoming products meet company standards, and maintaining accurate stock data and BOL information. Direct-hire position with onsite work five days a week.

Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment. As a result of our expansion and continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Buyer to join our Purchasing team.

Position Summary:

• Establish and maintain supplier relationships
• Research current and potential new vendors
• Analyze market trends for pricing
