We are currently looking for a Buyer I to be based out of Houston, TX. Reporting to the Production Control Manager, this person will be responsible for driving the advancement of supply chain processes and the daily activities of our material replenishment systems to meet customer demands. This role will lead the tactical efforts towards the achievement of the Strategic Plan objectives, with a strong emphasis on cost reduction. The Buyer I is the plant’s subject matter expert who will facilitate supplier and product qualifications. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 54,400 - $74,800 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
