Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Supply Chain Associates or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, admin support, or related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn and navigate ERP systems.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and process purchase orders per policy.
• Communicate with vendors for pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Monitor open orders and follow up for timely delivery.
• Maintain purchasing records and ERP/MRP data.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and cost.
• Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and accounting.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipments, invoices, or orders.
• Conduct basic market research to identify new suppliers and savings.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and ethical standards.
• Help build supplier pricing within the ERP system.

Essential Job Functions

• Create, review, and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies


• Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability


• Monitor open orders and follow up to ensure timely and accurate delivery


• Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and system data (ERP/MRP)


• Assist in evaluating supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and cost


• Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels and identifying shortages


• Collaborate with internal teams (production, warehouse, accounting) to support operational needs


• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to shipments, invoices, or order quantities


• Conduct basic market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities


• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical sourcing standards


• Assist with keeping/building supplier pricing within the ERP system
