New Flyer, a North American leader in heavy-duty transit buses, seeks a Buyer for its St. Cloud, MN hybrid role. You will execute supplier transactions in Oracle, manage supplier relations, and support production planning with strong MRP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
• 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory management.
• Excellent time management in fast-paced settings.
• Proven ability to build professional supplier relationships.
• Supply Chain Management designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete transactions in Oracle accurately to maintain data integrity and ensure performance targets are met.
• Develop and sustain a professional relationship with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain supplier communication to ensure they have accurate information to support the business plan.
• Resolve supply related issues with suppliers.
• Submit engineering documentation to suppliers on a timely basis and support first article documentation requirements.
• Support traffic personnel in securing required documentation for secure shipment of goods to our facilities.

As a Buyer at New Flyer, you will be responsible for executing the material supply plan to support our production needs, ensuring timely supplier communication and collaboration to achieve optimal performance. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing our mission of providing sustainable transport solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
