This is a remote position in Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line procurement support, generally directed to specific region(s) but also including backup support for other regional procurement agent(s).
  • General vendor management duties.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and contacts potential vendors to receive bids or quotations.
  • Participates in bid evaluation and vendor selection.
  • Assists vendors with onboarding and site-level service protocols.
  • Navigate practices through product shortages and allocations and manage company protocols in support of these efforts.
  • Act as the department lead for assigned new site or de novo integration projects.
  • Assist in the maintenance of supply chain systems, including but not limited to SCIS inventory, location, vendor, and item dictionaries.
  • Ensures staff assigned to product ordering and inventory management are appropriately trained in the use of the SCIS.
  • Monitor local compliance with company policies and procedures specific to strategic sourcing and contracting, capital and non-capital procurement, and inventory control.
  • Manages product and purchased service standardization initiatives as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two to five (2-5) years’ experience in supply chain/purchasing. Healthcare experience not required but a plus.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
