Job summary

Sunrise Marine - Orange Beach is looking for a Boat Buyer/Broker to act as a liaison between buyers and sellers in the marine market. You will facilitate the purchase and sale of boats, assess boats, negotiate deals, manage documentation, and deliver exceptional service throughout the process.

In this role you will meet clients, research market trends, analyze boat values, and price boats strategically. You will use CRM tools and OneWater processes to ensure smooth transactions and strong client

Qualifications

• Proven experience in boat brokerage, sales, or a related field.
• Brokerage License is required or preferred.
• Ability to analyze boats, market trends, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their boat-buying or selling needs.
• Provide expert advice on market trends, boat types, and pricing.
• Conduct thorough research to stay informed about market conditions, boat values, and emerging trends
• Analyze comparable sales to determine appropriate pricing for boats
• Negotiate terms and prices between buyers and sellers to reach mutually beneficial agreements
• Handle offers, counteroffers, and final agreements professionally
• Organize and conduct boat showings and demonstrations for prospective buyers
• Build and maintain relationships with boat owners, dealers, and other industry professionals
• Effective utilization of sales tools, including OneWater Buyer/Broker Processes and CRM
• Monitors the boat progression through service through inspection and delivery. Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the buying or selling process
• Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
• Actively participates in Boat Shows, Store and Off-site sales and customer events.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Boat Buyer/Broker, you will act as a liaison between buyers and sellers in the marine industry. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in boat brokerage, sales, or a related field
• Brokerage License
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market analysis and documentation.
• Established network of contacts in the marine industry preferred
