We are seeking a Buyer to drive category performance through strategic sourcing, vendor partnerships, and data-driven decision-making.

As a Buyer, you will manage procurement, develop category strategies, negotiate with vendors, and analyze market trends to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of buying/procurement experience in foodservice, retail, or distribution.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to drive cost savings & margin improvement.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel & data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement across assigned product categories.
• Develop & execute category strategies to optimize sales, margin, & inventory performance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, & promotional support with vendors to drive profitability.
• Analyze sales trends, market conditions, & competitive landscape to inform buying decisions.
• Identify new product opportunities & manage product lifecycle from onboarding through discontinuation.
• Partner with merchandising, operations, & marketing teams to align assortment with customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels & collaborate with supply chain to ensure proper stock levels across locations.
• Track vendor performance, resolve discrepancies, & ensure compliance with company standards.
• Support promotional planning, seasonal buys, & ad planning initiatives.
