Job summary

Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing/ERP Specialist to support a tech organization that designs, manufactures and distributes systems. You will handle purchasing activities, act as ERP key user, set up new parts and suppliers, and ensure timely PO processing and inventory control.

Ideal candidates have several years in buying, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and proven relationship management abilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Buyer (or similar purchasing role).
• 2+ years experience using ERP systems.
• 3+ years plus experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent relationship building and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing activities: MRP, issuing/managing POs and distribution orders, pricing, safety stock, disposition of slow-moving/obsolete parts, processing drop ship orders.
• ERP key user for purchasing, warehousing, receiving, shipping using basic knowledge of sales, RMAs, production and service orders.
• New part setup and new supplier set-up.
• Place POs & workbook orders on system, release line items to warehouse and ensure labeling and packaging.
• Create referral POs to referral partners monthly.
• Create manual POs for supply items and PRF forms from various departments.
• Backup to inventory analyst responsibilities.
• Assist finance with reports needed for auditors.
• Weekly product availability/S&OP spreadsheet and daily orders within lead time.
