The purpose of the Buyer is to assist in source selection and perform order process functions directly associated with Modula’s needs for materials, services, fixed assets, tooling, and production consumables. The Buyer will ensure availability of components to meet production schedule demands and maintain acceptable inventory levels within defined parameters.
This role is pivotal in supporting production with the materials they need at a competitive price. The individual in this position must have a high degree of integrity, resourcefulness, and professionalism in working with colleagues, clients, and vendors. Relationship building, internal customer service, and the ability to follow up in a timely manner are critical for success. The ideal candidate will have relative experience, excellent communication and time‑management skills, and manufacturing aptitude.
