Job summary

Uline is seeking a Branch Buyer to stock our new Connecticut warehouse with shipping, industrial, and packaging products. You will oversee inventory planning, purchasing, and vendor relationships to keep products moving and customer orders on track.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in supply chain or related fields, with experience in demand/fulfillment software (Blue Yonder/JDA is a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, demand forecasting or related fields.
• Experience with demand and fulfillment software; Blue Yonder (JDA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and purchasing for a large Connecticut facility to meet customer demand.
• Plan and place transfer orders from distribution centers and purchase orders with vendors.
• Build partnerships with vendors and distribution management to ensure product availability and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to address vendor issues, implement product changes and evaluate additions.
• Mentor and develop Associate Buyers while helping the team achieve purchasing goals.
