Job summary

Construction Manufacturer is seeking a Buyer in High Point, NC for a direct-hire opportunity. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of vendors, sourcing new suppliers, and handling quotes and purchase orders to support project needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of buying experience, proficiency with ERP systems, and solid knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. This position is on-site and requires strong vendor relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as Buyer.
• Must be proficient with ERP systems.
• Must have experience with Google workspace, sheets, docs, and email.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Past experience buying materials required.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of assigned vendors.
• Source new suppliers and vendors for materials.
• Handle RFQs, quotes, and purchase orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors.

• Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing and established company. This person will be responsible for managing their portfolio of assigned vendors. The buyer will be responsible for finding new suppliers and vendors to source material from. This person will manage requests and quotes to meet the needs for projects. The buyer will be responsible for data entry, strategic sourcing, following up and creating Purchase Orders and building relationships with vendors.
