PRL Peerless Instrument Co Inc is seeking an Electrical Buyer in East Farmingdale, NY. The role focuses on evaluating bids, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely, compliant purchasing of electronic components.

• Familiarity with purchasing regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates bids, selects and negotiates with suppliers on price, delivery, quality and service.
• Follows up on awards until order completion.
• Negotiate and settle with suppliers on damage claims, rejections, returns, and engineering changes.
• Conducts supplier site visits and rates production capability and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations in purchasing/shipping.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY Salary Information: $65,000 - $80,000 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Your Challenge:

• Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, delivery, quality and service.
• Follows up on all awards until completion of order.
• Negociates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations and engineering changes.
• Conducts supplier site visits and rates them as to production capability, performance and delivery.
• Responsible for complying with corporate policies, procedures and underlying Federal, state and/or local regulations concerning the purchase or shipment of goods, materials, or services.
