Hillphoenix in Conyers, GA is seeking a Buyer to perform purchasing and planning duties to support the production schedule. The Buyer will work with cross-functional teams to identify low-cost, high-quality suppliers and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Responsibilities include issuing POs, expediting shipments, maintaining inventory levels, negotiating contracts, and providing demand forecasts to suppliers.

Location: Conyers, GA
Hillphoenix is looking for a Buyer, who performs various purchasing and planning duties to obtain supplies and raw materials in support of the production schedule. The Buyer will work as part of cross-functional team to identify low-cost, high-quality, reliable sources of supply in support of strategic business objectives.
Knowledge & Expectations – Requires working knowledge of computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Oracle experience a plus. Language Skills - Good communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have a bias for action and ability to make decisions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
