Job summary

Kleen-Rite Corp. is seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Columbia, PA. You will manage supplier relationships, obtain product information, and issue purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing, strong Excel and communication skills, and experience with ERP systems. On-site work with a collaborative team environment includes health benefits and a path to professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing, buying, procurement, or related supply-chain experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must be able to commute to Columbia, PA for the on-site role.
• Must pass post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders according to established procedures.
• Monitor open purchase orders and expedite shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and coordinate freight information for incoming shipments.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies, delivery issues, and other purchasing-related concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecasts to reduce excess, slow-moving, and dormant inventory.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, pricing, delivery, and order accuracy.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and product information in company systems and records.
• Tackle challenges with innovative solutions to ensure uninterrupted supply chains and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Kleen-Rite Corp., THE reliable supplier to the car wash industry, is seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team.

Are you a highly motivated and proactive individual with a knack for taking initiative? Do you excel in Microsoft Excel and possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills? If so, we want YOU to be a part of our dynamic team!

This position requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, building strong supplier relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure our customers have the products they need when they need them.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Work with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field preferred.
• Proven 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or related supply-chain experience required.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Clear and concise communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong initiative and motivation to drive results.
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• NetSuite, NetStock or other ERP experience a plus.
• Must be able to reliably commute to our Columbia, PA office.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screening.
