Job summary

Copper Run Capital LLC in Cleveland, OH is offering a full-time 2027 Summer Internship for motivated students to gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end M&A lifecycle. The internship is 100% on-site, open to current juniors and seniors enrolled in college, and focuses on buy-side and sell-side engagements under senior bankers.

Qualifications

• College coursework in finance, accounting, marketing, sales or related field.
• Prior work experience is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Strong written and oral communication, teamwork and curiosity.
• Preference for GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Support deal team members in driving engagements forward.
• Conduct market research to identify acquisition targets and contact information.
• Assist in evaluating targets and aligning with client strategy.
• Assist with direct outreach to generate deal conversations with executives.
• Input and maintain target/prospect data in the CRM system.
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as letters, teasers and pitch decks.
• Join calls to learn how to engage with clients and prospects.
