Job summary

Oppenheimer Asset Management in New York seeks a Buy Side Execution Trader to manage orders across equity, fixed income, ETFs and options within wrap-fee programs. You will interact with OMS platforms, ECNs and dealers to optimize execution.

You will coordinate with portfolio managers and middle office on trade breaks, and contribute to trading operations projects as needed. A BA in finance, active FINRA licenses and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in finance or related field.
• Active FINRA registrations: Series 7, 63 and 57.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to exercise good judgement.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute orders across Fixed Income, Equity, ETF, Option, and Mutual Funds.
• Interact with in-house OMS and order routing platforms for execution.
• Interact with Fixed Income ECNs and dealers to facilitate execution.
• Collaborate with money managers on trading and trade issues.
• Coordinate with middle-office and client services on trade breaks and reconciliations.
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to trading operations.
