Job summary

Darigold in Pasco, WA is seeking a Butter Packaging Operator to join our plant's Operations team. You will operate butter packaging equipment, remelting, and related systems across multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year production experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while contributing to team goals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Butter packaging equipment including case packing, bundlers, conveyors, robotic palletizing, and labeling.
• Operate remelting equipment.
• Maintain efficiency and safety standards; contribute improvement ideas.
• Clean and sanitize equipment; keep work area organized; perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and document results.
• Assist with training new teammates.
• Follow GMP and safety practices; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Darigold is seeking a motivated Butter Packaging Operator to join our plant in Pasco, WA. As a member of the Operations team, this person should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant. Our plants create nutritious products 24/7, 365 days a year- availability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays is a must!

The ideal candidate for this role excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple repetitive tasks. You have a strong attention to detail and are committed to producing high quality product. You also enjoy working with others to achieve team goals but can work independently without direct supervision. Must be available to work any shift.

What You Will Do

• Operate, but not limited to the following Butter packaging equipment: Case packing equipment, Bundlers, convey lines and systems, robotic palletizing equipment, and label making/printing
• Operate remelting
• Maintain efficiency & safety standards set for the operating area; Contribute improvement ideas and initiatives; Work with a Waste Reduction Mentality.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of the equipment in the Butter packaging area, remelting equipment and associated equipment; maintains organization of the work area; and performs ongoing cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks in compliance with good manufacturing
• Perform routine equipment inspections as required
• Maintain accurate documentation as assigned
• Submits timely and accurate

Starting Pay:

$24.20 to 25.16 per hour
