Job summary

Cabot Creamery is seeking a regular, full-time Butter Machine Operator in West Springfield, MA, on a 1st shift (7:00 am-3:00 pm). You will operate butter packaging equipment, follow the production schedule, and maintain a sanitary facility, including CIP cleaning.

This is a 40-hour week role with a base pay range of $27.02–$29.08 per hour. There are opportunities for rate increases every 6 months for the first 18 months and ample advancement opportunities within this entry-level position.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates would have current or previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the food industry would be a plus for any candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate butter packaging equipment and troubleshooting of related machinery.
• Follow production schedule and ensure proper packaging and dates.
• Restock packaging materials and maintain sanitary conditions, including CIP wash.
• Complete logs and records accurately per Safety and SQF procedures.
