Responsibilities

As a Meat Cutter at Joe V’s, you will help provide the freshest products through a well-stocked and maintained department, delivering excellent customer service with a sense of ownership and teamwork. Your daily tasks include cutting, preparing, tray, and merchandising fresh meat products under supervision, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will:

  1. Perform production tasks such as cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products, operating equipment like grinders and slicers.
  2. Maintain proper storage and rotation of products to ensure freshness.
  3. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection and answering questions.
  4. Ensure food safety and sanitation by cleaning and maintaining equipment and display areas.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and customer service.
  • Completion of required training and compliance standards.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of meat cutting procedures and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible schedules.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, reach, grasp, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 90 lbs, operating equipment, and working in cold, wet, and noisy environments. Partners should always adhere to safe lifting practices and seek assistance for heavy items.
