Responsibilities

As a Meat Cutter at Joe V’s, you will help provide the freshest quality products by maintaining a well-stocked and well-maintained department while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:

  1. Cutting, trimming, tray, and merchandising fresh meat products daily under supervision.
  2. Operating equipment such as grinders, saws, tenderizers, and slicers.
  3. Weighing, wrapping, and labeling product packages.
  4. Rotating products in coolers and sales floors to ensure freshness and proper storage.
  5. Maintaining safety standards and sanitation practices.
  6. Providing customer service by assisting with product questions and selections.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and customer service.
  • Completion of required job skills and compliance training.
Skills and Abilities

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, reach, grasp, and operate equipment for extended periods, often in cold and wet conditions. Ability to lift up to 90 lbs safely is required.
