Job summary

Lancaster County Motors Subaru in Lancaster County is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our busy Subaru service department. If you have at least 3 years of automotive repair experience, Pennsylvania Inspection & Emissions licenses, and your own tools, we'd love to meet you.

You’ll perform repairs to Subaru factory standards, diagnose and repair malfunctions, complete repair orders, and stay current with manufacturer bulletins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive service experience.
• Pennsylvania Inspection & Emissions licenses.
• Own tools.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to dealership and Subaru factory standards.
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Complete all work outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
• Save and properly tag parts when required for warranty repairs or requested by the customer.
• Thoroughly inspect assigned vehicles and identify additional safety, maintenance, or repair needs.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, repair procedures, and vehicle technology.
