Job summary

Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, OR is seeking a Sports Pub Kitchen Prep Cook / Dishwasher to ensure smooth kitchen operations through dishware maintenance, sanitation, and Kitchen support. The role is full-time and on-site at the MAC.

You will wash, dry, and store dishware for banquet functions and restaurants, support kitchen staff with food production, and uphold high cleanliness standards while collaborating with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• One year of dishwashing or food production experience in a large facility preferred.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with food production equipment.
• Valid food handler's permit.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and store dishware for banquet functions and restaurants.
• Uphold sanitation standards and state requirements.
• Assist with food production and plating during banquets as assigned by kitchen management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to ensure efficiency.
• Promote safety policies and report hazards or injuries promptly.
• Support team and train new dishwashers as needed.
