Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Portland, Oregon is seeking a friendly and hardworking restaurant dishwasher to support cooks, bussers, bartenders, and servers with clean china, silverware, and glassware.

You will operate kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely, restock supplies, and help keep the kitchen area tidy. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is preferred to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and training, and able to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Flexible schedule and are able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep area in kitchen clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove all trash and debris from restaurant routinely.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• Take on responsibilities outside of this job description as needed.
