Job summary

Western PA Community Hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an established team of 1 Gastroenterologist and 2 APPs. The practice offers immediate patient demand and the potential to build a full practice within six months.

New graduates/fellows are encouraged to apply. The role supports up to 16 procedures per day and 8–20 inpatient GI consults daily, with ERCP/EUS not required. Endoscopy services are available 24/7 with CRNA/anesthesia coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible/board-certified Gastroenterology.
• Pennsylvania medical license required prior to start.
• New graduates/fellows encouraged to apply.
• Experience with high-volume GI procedures preferred.
• ERCP/EUS not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general gastroenterology care in a community hospital setting.
• Perform up to 16 GI procedures per day.
• Manage approximately 8–20 inpatient GI consults per day.
• Collaborate with CRNA/anesthesia for procedures and with the endoscopy team.
• Flexible schedule with potential 4-day workweek; call coverage as arranged.
